It never ceases to amaze how one young sound artist created such a beautifully rendered reading with voices and soundscapes that put you IN the setting. I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if possible! It is so good... but this is the BEST of the books because by the point he recorded this, Phil Dragash had really honed the voices, soundcapes and music choices, and his narrative reading style. If the Ride of the Rohirrim as narrated by Phil doesn't bring you to tears... well... listen again, with feeling! But seriously, this is a most awesome production that I always enjoy listening to.
